Tuk Pitulasan:The Left of the Merapi Eruption

Merapi Eruption could be seen around Cendol River.
Throughout a large family in the area know this Sleman-Jogyakarta, yet though I wade through the Gendol river hamlet located about 3-4 miles from where we live. At most, we go to Bronggang for everyday shopping needs, or to a large field to pray Eid every year.
Gendol river usually used to drain the cold lava from Merapi Mount. The river will dry up during dry season. At that time people get additional income from sand mining activities.
But the big of Mount Merapi eruption, which happened early on Friday 5 November 2010 that killed 88 people it has changed the story about Bronggang hamlets along the edge of time and surroundings. According to the Head of the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources in the Office of R Sukhiyar BPPTK Yogyakarta, Sunday, November 7, 2010, hot clouds glide 5 November 2010 reached 15 kilometers, compared to previously reach 11-12 kilometers in 1872 (source: YouTube).
During this Bronggang and surrounding hamlets located Argomulyo village, belonging to the area shelters the refugees who came from the hamlet which lies over the top. Because there was no precedent, it makes perfect sense if the locals had thought they would be safe when staying there. Although already preparing to evacuate, but fate would for the people who became victims in the accident.

Today after the tragedy was over almost a year, the flow of time residing in the village Gendol Bronggang one tourist spot which is quite crowded. Plus there are sources of heat flow, called Tuk Pitulasan sulfur.
In the middle of the road (there was once a bridge connecting the village to the west and east as Bronggang and Gadingan) there is a large stone built the flow of hot clouds and can not be moved.
Visitors who came only motorized vehicle parking charge. To get into the hot springs area is provided charity box as voluntary.
Hot springs is derived from the flow of water that seeps under the sand dunes are plentiful. By the government and the surrounding community built a dam-like barrier. Of the gap that is flowing hot water is still causing sulfur smoke among the rocks.

Of the flow, the water allowed to flow away to bottom. But there is also accommodated by the community manager in the container / bucket great for visitors who intend to bathe and medical therapy. Location baths there is still an emergency nature, because only a blue tent set up as a simple bathroom.
Water flowing this feels pretty hot. Not warm, let alone the lukewarm as to bathe the baby, because of wisps of smoke still visible between the flow of water. The visitors usually only set foot on the rocks they are yellowing due to water that is rich in sulfur. If too long soak, it’s hot. I think maybe the temperature is above 40oC? (Unfortunately, I didn’t bring my thermometer for accurate evidence)
Some of the hamlets along the Gendol River flow may already devastated swept heat wave that carries clouds of sand and rocks. Hopefully the people around there will be more patient examinations and grateful for the blessings given. Can be re-excited to organize their lives for the better. Surely there will always be lessons for any events that befall us so far. Behind it all, God gave a lot of implicit messages addressed to human beings to recognize Lord Greatness.
